The Fountain Singers were founded by Anna Cristoni-Apel in 2015, together with a small number of keen amateur singers.

 

The group focuses on early music, with a particular interest in the Medieval and Renaissance. They perform both a cappella and with period instrumentalists.

Since regrouping after the 2020-21 pandemic, the Fountain Singers enjoy and promote early music through their concert activity, which includes the newly created festival Early Voices in Llantwit Major.
